Dr. Malcolm DeBaun

Dr. Malcolm DeBaun is an orthopaedic surgeon based in Stanford, California, and proudly affiliated with Duke University Hospital. He earned his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine and has spent over a decade helping patients recover from complex injuries and regain their mobility.

As Co-Founder of MyBackHub, Dr. DeBaun combines his clinical expertise with a passion for innovation, developing accessible tools and programs that empower patients to take control of their recovery and long-term spine health.

He specializes in treating fractures of the upper and lower extremities, pelvis, and acetabulum, as well as complex conditions such as nonunion, malunion, and osteomyelitis. He’s also highly experienced in adult limb lengthening, deformity correction, and joint replacement procedures.

With a mission to restore function and confidence after injury, Dr. DeBaun utilizes the latest surgical technologies and minimally invasive techniques to ensure optimal outcomes. His goal is to help patients return to their active lifestyles while promoting mental, physical, and spiritual wellness.
